Finally Metro Comes to Najafgarh in 3rd Phase

NEW DELHI: The Delhi government on Monday gave its nod to a revised proposal for Metro's phase-III -- including two new lines and extension of another three existing routes -- and will now send the recommendation to a Group of Ministers (GoM) for clearance.


The decision was taken in a Cabinet meeting presided over by the Delhi chief minister Sheila Dikshit.

"We have approved five routes of a total length of 108 km under the Metro third phase and now we will send this to the GoM. A route from Najafgarh to Dwarka has been added," Dikshit told reporters.

Delhi government has decided to commission two lines -- Mukundpur-Yamuna Vihar and Janakpuri West-Noida Botanical Garden and extend three existing routes -- Badarpur-Central Secretariat up to Kashmere Gate, HUDA City Centre-Gurgaon- Jahangirpuri up to Badli and Dwarka line up to Najafgarh.

Dikshit stated that her government is keen to extend the coverage of Delhi Metro service in the capital as its services have been reliable, fast, pollution-free and hassle-free.

Under Phase-II, route length of 108 km has almost been commissioned except a section of 3.32 km from Kirti Nagar to Ashok Park, which is likely to be commissioned in the next two months.

Dikshit said in all, 67 stations will come up under the third phase. Around 41 km of line will be underground and rest 67 km will be elevated. The anticipated cost of Phase-III will be over Rs 30,000 crore including taxes and duties.

One of the new routes is Mukundpur-Rajouri Garden-Dhaula Kuan-Anand Vihar-Yamuna Vihar with 35 stations and total route length of around 56 km. This line will pass through Naraina with a new Metro station. Another new route is Janakpuri West-Munirka-Kalkaji-Jamia-Kalindi Kunj-Botanical Garden Noida with 22 stations and route of around 34 km.

Central Secretariat-Badapur Line will be extended up to Kashmere Gate with seven stations and route length of around 10 km. Another line is to be extended from HUDA City Centre, Gurgaon-Jahangirpuri up to Badli with three new stations and route of length of around 5 km.

The extension of 5 km route on existing Dwarka line up to Najafgarh has also been approved.

Dikshit added that with completion of the third phase it is expected that entire Ring Road will be connected with Metro service which will provide much relief to the commuters.

The Cabinet has also decided to get prepared a detailed project report on priority basis for extension of existing Dilshad Garden-Rithala line up to Bawana.

विश्व युद्ध क्रिकेट का.....

धो-डालो...रौंद डालो..... सफाया कर डालो......किल कर दो.......आउट कर दो......हिट करो.....पेल डालो....हालत पतली कर दो....दे दनादन ....ये शब्द कोई मुंबई या फिर अन्दर वर्ल्ड डोन के नहीं या भाई के नहीं बल्कि जेंटलमैन का खेल कहे जाने वाले खेल क्रिकेट के हैं...जो क्रिकेट का तथाकथित विश्व युद्ध चल रहा है, उसी में रोज यह सुनाई दे रहे हैं या देंगे......इस युद्ध के लिए ज़मीन दी शेरों के देश भारत, रिक्शे का देश बंगलादेश और रावण के देश श्रीलंका ने ...और लड़-कट-मरेंगे गोरे, काले-एसियन सब....! और जैसे-जैसे इस युद्ध का आगाज तेज़ी से होगा ये शब्द और ज्यादा तीखे होंगे...कुल मिलकर १४ देश अपने-अपने लंगोट कश कर क्रिकेट के सुनहरे रंग के वर्ल्ड कप को छीनने में लगे हुए हैं...इसी युद्ध में पहला युद्ध भारत और बंगलादेश के बीच हुआ...इस वर्ल्ड कप के पहले ही युद्ध में भारत ने बांग्लादेश को ठीक-ठाक तरीके से हराया....ठीक इसलिए क्यूंकि बंगलादेश भारत जैसी टीम नहीं थी....मतलब हमारे देश के लोग टक्कर की टीम नहीं मानते हैं....बंगलादेश के लोग और सट्टेबाजों को छोड़कर ! मगर सट्टा भयानक .....! मीडिया में खबरों के अनुसार हमारे रक्षा बजट से छह गुना ज्यादा लगा...तकरीबन छह सौ करोड़ रुपये..! भारत ने पहले बैटिंग करके 370 रनों का विशाल स्कोर खड़ा किया जिसके जवाब में बांग्लादेश 283 रन ही बना सका। यह पहला मैच भी था क्रिकेट के विश्व कप का !सचिन तेंदुलकर भागते भागते बहार हो गए बैटिंग से.....बचे नजफगढ़ के नवाब साहब...गुस्से में रहते हैं हमेशा..गेंद और गेंदबाज़ दोनू के खिलाफ....बंगलादेश को खूब नचाया.....छक्का, चौका..एक दो तीन सारे तरीके के रन बनाये....१७५ रन पर वो भी बोल्ड हो गए....क्रैम्प होने के बाद...इंडिया और पाकिस्तान के देशों के साथ यह बहुत बड़ी समस्या है....साथ में थे गंभीर. जो हमेशा गेंद के खिलाफ इतने गंभीर हो जाते हैं की आउट हो जाते हैं.......उलटे -सीधे शॉट मारने से अच्छा है आउट हो जाऊं....मगर नवाब साहब का जवाब नहीं है......फिर आये विराट आगे की विरासत संभालने....सहवाग के साथ ....दोनूं एक ही स्कूल में प्रक्टिस करने वाले एक इलाके के रहने वाले.....जिसे विकास पूरी कहते हैं...सहवाग भी वही प्रक्टिस करने आते थे...और नजफगढ़ ज्यादा दूर भी नहीं विकास पुरी से....बस फिर क्या विराट की विरासत ने कमाल कर दिखाया....सैकड़ा ठोक डाला...बंगलादेश बगलें झाकने लगा....ऐसा लगा जैसे स्कूल की टीम के साथ इंडिया की टीम शरारत कर रही है... कुल मिलाकर पहला युद्ध जीत लिया गया....धौनी और कंपनी ने अच्छा खेल खेला...बधाई, और आगे के लिए शुभकामना भी !

धोभी घाट का सच .....

लम्बे समय के बाद शुक्रवार को समय मिला, ऑफिस के ख़बरों से दूर.... आज़ाद पंछी की तरह शहर के आबो-हवा में दिन भर चहल कदमी करते हुए आधुनिक सीपी पहुंचा जिसे पुराना नाम कनाट प्लेस से भी जाना जाता है...योजना थी धूप भी शेकी जाए और कॉफ़ी भी पी ली जाए...साथ मिला मेरी प्यारी मित्र का...जो शहर के दूसरे छोर पर रहती थी...सोचा कि शुक्रवार है तो क्योँ न कोई अच्छी सी फिल्म देख ली जाए...सो आमिर खान की फिल्म धोबी घाट देखने पहुँच गए....मशहूर हाल रिवोली के खिड़की पर पहुचे, और दो टिकेट ले ली....वहां खडी मोहतरमा को पूछा मूवी कैसी है ...जवाब आया ठीक सर !

मैंने भी सोचा आमिर खान की फिल्म है, कोई बुराई नहीं है देखने में, कुछ न कुछ मेसेज तो होता ही है, और लीक से हटकर बनाने कि उनकी फितरत भी है....खैर, अन्दर घुसे ... सीट में बैठे तो पता चला कि यह नॉन स्टॉप फिल्म है, कोई इंटरवल नहीं है.....चलो ये भी सही..नया अनुभव ! फिल्म शुरू हुई....हिंदी -अंग्रेजी मिक्स बोलते हुए एक विदेश से आयी हिन्दुस्तानी युवती....और आमिर खान का साथ.....ऊपर से बिहार के धरबंगा से मुंबई गए एक धोबी युवक के बीच पूरी फिल्म धुलती रहती है...जब शुरू हुई फिल्म तो पता चला कि निर्देशन उनकी नयी पत्नी किरण राव ने किया है...जो पहले सहायक निर्देशक भी रह चुकी थी फिल्म लगान में....और आमिर को नचाया भी था...उनके दिल में आमिर के साथ प्यार का अंकुर वही से फूटा, जो बाद में फूल बनकर आमिर खान की जिन्दगी में विराजमान है ...खैर...फिल्म आगे चलने लगी तो पता चला आमिर पेंटर बाबू बने हैं...जिनके सम्बन्ध उस युवती से बन जाते हैं जो इंडिया आई है और फोटोग्राफी कर रही है..आमिर शर्मिंदा होते हैं युवती मस्त ! बिहार से गया धोबी की मुंबई की गलियौं में चप्पलें घिसते घिसते शाम हो जाती है...लोगों के घर पर कपडे पहुचाता है और लाता है धोने के लिए...मगर उसकी अपनी मजबूरी है...पूरी फिल्म में भागता ही रहता है....मुंबई शहर के विसुअल्स अच्छे हैं, कलात्मक दृष्टि से देखा जाये तो फिल्म उस कैटेगरी में आती है....लेकिन अंत में एक मेसेज देने के मामले में निर्देशक भटक जाता है....जैसे पुरानी टेप बीच में चलनी बंद हो जाती है और फिर दिल में ख्याल आता है पता नहीं बीच में अंत में क्या हुआ होगा....आमिर मझे हुए कलाकार हैं, धोभी वाले लड़के को और मेहनत करने की जरुरत है.....विदेशी युवती ने अच्छा अभिनय किया है, कैमरा बीच बीच में शेक करता है मगर चल पड़ा है क्यूंकि बेस ठीक था...लेकिन कहानी लिखने वाला और निर्देशक दोनू की बीच लगता है कुछ न कुछ मन मुटाव था....तीन घंटे की शायद होती तो फिल्म अच्छी बन पड़ती...लेकिन डेढ़ घंटे में फिल्म बिना ब्रेक के निपटा दी गई ....सायद लोग पचा नहीं पायेंगे ...मॉस के लिए नहीं है फिल्म लेकिन स्पेसल क्लास भी कहना उचित नहीं होगा....गाल भर हाथ रख कर में भी सोचता रहा कि कहानी समझ में आ जाए...लेकिन बीच बीच में दिमाग मुझ सी ही पूछ बैठता ऐसा कैसे हुआ ?क्या यही आमिर इफेक्ट है? किरण राव तो में सलाह दूंगा थोड़े दिन फिल्म छोड़ कर घर ग्रहस्ती संभाल ले....वरना आमिर के लिए खतरा हो सकती है.....फिल्म संसार सफलता मांगता है न कि असफलता....बाकी मेरी मित्र मेरे साथ बैठी थी...वो मुझे पूछ रही थी धोबी ने बिल्ली/चूहे को क्योँ मारा? अब वो बिल्ली थी या चूहा और फिर उसका मरना का लोजिक कौन उसे समझाए....उसका भी पूछना जायज था....कुल मिलाकर एक शोट पसंद आया..आमिर के .हाथ में जाम और बाहर बारिस और जाम /मदिरा में बारिस का गिरते हुए पानी का मिलाना......नेचुरल नशा ! मुंबई शहर के मद मस्त अंदाज को दर्शाता है..... रचनात्मकता और कलात्मकता के भंवर में फिल्म धोबी घाट पहुँच गई है।
अंत में मुझे खुशी इस बात की है मैंने फिल्म देखी.....वो भी... शुक्रवार को ! कैसे थी और क्या थी भूल जाना बेहतर है ...अपनी मित्र के बारे में कुछ नहीं कह सकता क्योँ की हर किसी का अपना सोचना है......वो जितनी भोली और रियल है फिल्म उसके लिए उतनी अधिक जटिल थी....लेकिन वो भी खुश थी क्यूंकि उसने मेरे साथ फिल्म देखी....बाहर निकले तो कॉफ़ी ली....बिरयानी खायी और घर आ गए....मगर धोभी घाट मत जाना !
